Take the Metro (Tunnelbana) from any station to T-Centralen (the main station). From T-Centralen, take the exit towards Vasagatan. Walk south on Vasagatan until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan. Turn left onto Drottninggatan and continue walking until you reach Gamla Stan.
