From Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 9 towards 'Wabern, Gümmenen'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Zytglogge'. From there, walk straight down Kramgasse (the main shopping street) for about 500 meters until you reach Bundesplatz.
