    From Locarno city center, walk to the bus stop 'Piazza Grande'. Take Bus 2 towards 'Muralto' and get off at the 'Muralto, Posta' stop. From there, transfer to Bus 3 towards 'Piazza del Sole'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'San Fermo della Battaglia, Chiesa'. From the bus stop, walk uphill for about 10 minutes following the signs to 'Parco Regionale Spina Verde'.

    Head to the Locarno train station and take a train to 'Como Lago'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Como Lago station, exit and walk towards the 'Funicolare' (funicular railway) station. Take the funicular to 'Brunate'. From Brunate, follow the hiking trails towards 'Parco Regionale Spina Verde', which should take approximately 45 minutes of walking.

    If you prefer to walk, start from the Locarno city center and head towards the 'Lago Maggiore'. Walk along the lakeside promenade until you reach the 'Ponte della Ferrovia'.
