Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Zermatt, near the Zermatt train station. Head south on Bahnhofstrasse, the main street of Zermatt, until you reach the end of the street. Continue straight onto the path that leads towards the Matterhorn Museum. Follow the signs for the Gornergrat Bahn, which is a cogwheel train station. As you approach the Gornergrat Bahn, you will see a bus stop nearby. Take the PostBus line 4 towards Gignod. This bus will take you through the beautiful Aosta Valley. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Gignod' stop.

Once you arrive at the Gignod bus stop, follow the signs towards Frazione Le Château. It is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes uphill.
