From Iringa town, head to the central bus station, known as 'Iringabasi'. Look for a daladala (shared minibus) heading towards Kihesa or Mufindi. The fare is usually around 1,000 TZS. Once on the daladala, ask the conductor to drop you off at 'Maji Moto'. It takes about 30 minutes to reach this stop. Upon arrival, you will need to walk for approximately 2 kilometers towards the Chemka Hot Springs. Follow the dirt road leading to the springs, and look for signs or local villagers who can provide direction.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, several rental shops in Iringa offer bicycles for hire. Start your journey from the center of Iringa and head towards the Maji Moto area. It is a scenic route, approximately 12 kilometers, which should take about an hour. Follow the main road towards Kihesa and then take the dirt road that leads to Chemka Hot Springs. Ensure you have a map or GPS on your mobile device to assist with navigation.

For those adventurous enough to walk, start your journey from the center of Iringa. Head towards the main road leading out of town towards Kihesa. The entire hike is around 12 kilometers, which will take approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. Follow the road until you reach Maji Moto, and from there, take the dirt path leading to Chemka Hot Springs. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring plenty of water.
