Getting There

Walking
From the center of Moshi, start at the Moshi Bus Station. Head east on Uhuru Street towards the Moshi Urban Authority. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Sokoine Road. Turn left onto Sokoine Road and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and local markets. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards Materuni Village. After walking, you will reach the edge of town. At this point, you can ask locals for directions to Materuni Village, as it's a common destination. Continue walking along the road towards the village, which is approximately 10 kilometers from Moshi. The road will start to incline as you get closer to the village. Look for signs for Materuni Village Cultural Tourism.
