Getting There

    If you are driving, start your journey from Moshi town. Head north on the A23 road towards Arusha. After about 6 kilometers, take a left onto the B1 road towards Uru. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers. Look for signs to Uru Msuni and follow them. The campsite is located about 2 kilometers past the Uru village. There is ample parking available at the campsite.

  • Public Transportation

    From Moshi, take a daladala (local minibus) heading towards Uru. The fare is approximately 1,500 TZS. Once you reach Uru village, ask the driver to drop you off near the Uru Msuni area. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the campsite. Follow the dirt road leading north from Uru village until you see signs for Kahawa Shambani Campsite.

  • Taxi

    For a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Moshi to Kahawa Shambani Campsite. The cost for this journey is around 15,000 to 25,000 TZS, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. The taxi will take you directly to the campsite, which is about a 25-minute drive from Moshi.
