From Ruaha National Park, start by heading northwest on the A104 road towards Iringa. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you reach Iringa, continue on the A104 until you reach the junction with the B1 road. Turn left onto the B1 road and proceed towards Dodoma. After about 90 kilometers, look for signs to Arusha. Follow the signs and continue on the A104 until you reach Arusha. The total travel time from Ruaha to Arusha is approximately 7-8 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Note that fuel stations may be limited along the route, so ensure your tank is full before departing.

To reach Arusha National Park from Ruaha National Park using public transportation, first, make your way to the nearest bus station in Iringa. Buses to Arusha leave regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes around 6-8 hours. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive in Arusha, take a taxi or a local dala-dala (minibus) to the Arusha National Park entrance. Be prepared for an additional cost for park entry fees, which are separate from the transportation cost.
