    To get from Tarangire National Park to Arusha National Park by car, start by exiting Tarangire through the main gate. Head towards the town of Mto wa Mbu, located approximately 20 kilometers from Tarangire. Once you reach Mto wa Mbu, take the B144 road heading toward Arusha. Continue on this road for about 60 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A104 road. Turn left onto A104 and follow the signs for Arusha. After about 25 kilometers on the A104, you will reach Arusha. From Arusha, follow the signs to Arusha National Park, which is approximately 30 kilometers northeast of the city center. The total driving time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Note that you may incur costs for fuel, which can vary based on your vehicle and current fuel prices.

    To travel from Tarangire National Park to Arusha National Park using public transportation, first exit Tarangire and head towards the nearest town, Mto wa Mbu. From there, you can catch a daladala (local minibus) heading to Arusha. The fare is usually around 2,000 TZS ($1) per person. The journey from Mto wa Mbu to Arusha takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Arusha, you can take another daladala or a taxi to the entrance of Arusha National Park, which is approximately 30 kilometers from the city center. Expect to pay an additional fare of around 3,000 TZS ($1.50) for this segment of the trip. Ensure to check the schedule for the daladala, as they may not run frequently, especially in the late afternoon.
