If you are already in Dollywood, the easiest way to get to Thunderhead is by walking. Locate the main path that runs through the park, known as the Main Street. Head towards the back of the park, where you'll see signs directing you to the Timber Canyon area. Thunderhead is located near the entrance to Timber Canyon. Follow the path through the beautifully landscaped gardens and enjoy the views as you make your way towards the ride. It should take you approximately 10-15 minutes to walk there.
