Car
If you are driving from Gatlinburg, TN, head north on US-441 N (the main road through the Smokies). Continue for about 4.5 miles until you reach the Trillium Gap Trailhead. You will see a sign indicating the entrance to the trail. Turn left into the parking area. Grotto Falls is accessible from this trailhead.

Public Transportation
Take the public transit service provided by the Gatlinburg Trolleys. Board the trolley at one of the trolley stops in Gatlinburg and take the route towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Get off at the stop closest to the Trillium Gap Trailhead. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to reach the trailhead entrance. Follow the signs indicating the direction to Grotto Falls.
