Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mae Hong Son, head towards the Mae Hong Son bus station. Once you reach the bus station, look for a local songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Mae La Noi. Board the songthaew and inform the driver that you are going to น้ำตกดาวดึงส์ (Nam Tok Dao Dueng). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the waterfall, which is usually along the Unnamed Road. From there, you may need to walk about 1 km down a dirt path to reach the waterfall.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Mae Hong Son. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the Mae Hong Son bus station. Follow the same route as the songthaew towards Mae La Noi but on your bicycle. The ride will be scenic but can be steep in some areas. Once you reach the Unnamed Road, park your bicycle and walk the remaining distance of about 1 km to the waterfall. Be cautious of the terrain as it can be uneven.

Motorbike
If you are comfortable riding a motorbike, you can rent one in Mae Hong Son. Start from the town center and head towards the Mae Hong Son bus station. Continue following the road to Mae La Noi, which is well-marked. The trip will take around 30 minutes. Once you reach the Unnamed Road, park your motorbike and make your way on foot for about 1 km to the waterfall. Ensure you have appropriate safety gear and check the bike before you ride.
