Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Kombo Central, head north on the Kairaba Avenue towards the Senegambia area. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway (A1). Take a left turn onto the Banjul Highway and follow the signs towards Banjul. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit for the road towards Bafuloto. Continue for another 3 kilometers until you see signs for Makasutu on your right. Follow the road until you reach the entrance of Makasutu, located at 896M+6HC, Bafuloto.

    From any location in Kombo Central, take a 'Gele-Gele' or 'Dabbo' (shared taxi) to the Serrekunda market. Once at the market, look for a bus heading towards Banjul and inform the driver that you want to get off at Bafuloto. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Upon reaching Bafuloto, ask locals for directions to Makasutu, which is about a 10-minute walk from the main road. Look for signs or locals who can guide you to the entrance at 896M+6HC, Bafuloto.
