Car Rental
If you have rented a car from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, start by heading northeast on the main road towards Kisoro. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the junction at Kabale. From there, take the road heading towards Fort Portal, which is well-marked. Continue on this road for about 70 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Kibale National Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Make sure to check the condition of the road, as it can vary based on the season.

To use public transportation, you will first need to get to a nearby town like Kisoro or Kabale. From Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, find a local 'boda-boda' (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Kisoro, which is about 30 kilometers away. Once you reach Kisoro, take a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Fort Portal. Inform the driver that you are heading to Kibale National Park, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the park entrance. The total cost for the boda-boda should be around 20,000 UGX, and the matatu fare will be approximately 25,000 UGX.
