Car
From the main entrance of Rwenzori Mountains National Park, head towards the town of Kasese. Drive along the main road until you reach the junction for Bigodi. Take the left turn towards Bigodi and continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Turaco Trails. The exact location is 9CV7+5G4, Bigodi. Ensure to have a GPS or map for precise navigation.

Public Transportation
From Rwenzori Mountains National Park, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kasese. Once in Kasese, transfer to another matatu that goes to Bigodi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Turaco Trails. The cost for the matatu ride from the park to Kasese is approximately 5,000 UGX, and from Kasese to Bigodi, it should be around 3,000 UGX. Upon reaching Bigodi, you can either walk or take a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Turaco Trails, which is about 2 kilometers away.

If you are already in Bigodi, you can hire a boda-boda to take you directly to Turaco Trails. The journey is approximately 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic. The cost for a boda-boda ride is usually around 2,000 to 3,000 UGX. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.
