Car
From the main entrance of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, head towards the Buhoma area. Follow the signs towards Buhoma Visitor Center. After about 10 minutes, you will see a sign for Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. Turn left and continue on this road for approximately 5 km. The camp will be on your right, located at coordinates 0°59’20.98”S 29°36’48.54”E.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kisoro or Kabale to Buhoma. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive in Buhoma, you can hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp for about 10,000 UGX. The camp is located 5 km from Buhoma, so be sure to show the driver the coordinates: 0°59’20.98”S 29°36’48.54”E.
