If you are driving from central Jinja, head north on Main Street (often called Jinja Road). After approximately 2 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to the Source of the Nile. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near the entrance to the Ripon Falls site. There may be a small parking fee of around 2,000 UGX.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
From anywhere in Jinja, you can easily hire a boda boda to take you to Ripon Falls. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Ripon Falls at the Source of the Nile. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, costing around 5,000-10,000 UGX depending on your starting point. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

Public Minibus (Matatu)
To travel by public transport, look for a matatu heading towards the Source of the Nile. These minibuses leave from designated stops in Jinja. You will need to get off at the closest stop to the Source of the Nile, which is about 1 kilometer from Ripon Falls. The fare is usually around 1,000-2,000 UGX. From the stop, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) or hire a boda boda for a quicker trip.

If you are already near the Source of the Nile, you can walk to Ripon Falls. From the Source of the Nile, head east along the path that follows the river. The walk is scenic and will take about 20-30 minutes. Be mindful of your surroundings and ensure you stay on the designated paths.
