Walking
From the center of Mbarara, head west on Main Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight at the roundabout and take the first exit onto the Mbarara-Kabale Road. Walk for about 1 kilometer. Look for the sign for Ankole Demonstration Zoo on your right. Follow the path leading to the entrance of the zoo.

Start at the Mbarara Central Market. Head south on Market Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Mbarara-Kabale Road. Cycle for approximately 1 kilometer, and watch for the Ankole Demonstration Zoo sign on your right. Follow the path to the zoo's entrance.

Find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) at one of the designated stations in Mbarara. Tell the driver you want to go to Ankole Demonstration Zoo. They will take you directly to the zoo entrance.
