From Banff, take the A98 road heading west. Follow the A98 for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with the B9031. Turn left onto the B9031 and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for signs indicating Findlater Castle. You will find a small parking area nearby. Please note that there may be no parking fees, but be sure to check local signage.

Take the X35 bus from Banff to Sandend. The bus operates several times a day. Once you arrive in Sandend, walk west along the coastal path for about 15-20 minutes. Follow the path that leads to Findlater Castle. Ensure that you check the bus timetable in advance for the return journey.

If you are already in the Sandend area, you can walk directly to Findlater Castle. From Sandend Beach, head south along the coastal path for about 1 mile. The castle is situated on a cliff overlooking the sea. The walk is scenic and offers beautiful views of the coastline.
