If you are driving from the town of Banff, head west on the A98 road. Follow the road for approximately 2 miles. After passing the Banff Castle, take a right onto the A947 towards Macduff. Continue for another mile, and you will see signs for Bridge of Alvah. Turn left onto the smaller road where the signs indicate the bridge is located. The final destination will be on your right-hand side, and there is a small parking area nearby.

To reach Bridge of Alvah via public transport, start by taking a local bus from Banff to Macduff. Buses are available every 30 minutes from the Banff bus station. Once you reach Macduff, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the Bridge of Alvah. Follow the A947 road north, and then take a right onto the smaller road that leads to the bridge. Note that the bus fare is approximately £2.50 each way.
