Getting There

  • Car

    To drive from Blackpool to Liverpool Albert Docks, start by heading southeast on the A583 towards the M55. Merge onto the M55 and continue for about 10 miles. At the end of the M55, merge onto the M6 towards Liverpool. After approximately 30 miles, take the exit onto the M62 towards Liverpool. Follow the M62 until it becomes the A5047, and then continue onto the A5038. Follow signs for Albert Docks and you will arrive at Edward Pavilion, Liverpool L3 4AF. Parking may be available in the nearby car parks, which may incur a charge.

  • Train

    For public transportation, take a train from Blackpool North station to Liverpool Lime Street station. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once at Liverpool Lime Street, exit the station and take the Merseyrail Northern Line train towards Ormskirk or Kirkby. Get off at the James Street station, which is approximately a 5-minute walk from the Albert Docks. Follow the signs to the Albert Docks area; you will see directional signs leading you to Edward Pavilion, Liverpool L3 4AF.
