Walking
If you're starting from Liverpool Lime Street Station, exit the station and head southwest on Lime Street toward St. George's Place. Cross over the road and continue straight onto St. George's Place. Follow the road as it curves to the right and turns into William Brown Street. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where you will see St. John's Gardens on your left. Turn left onto the sidewalk next to the gardens and follow it until you reach the junction with the A5038 (Lime Street). Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing to continue onto the A5038. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout; take the second exit onto the A5036 (Liverpool Road). Continue straight until you reach the Albert Dock on your left. Walk along the waterfront until you see signs for Canning Dock, which is located at Hartley Quay.

Public Transport - Bus
From Liverpool One Bus Station, take bus number 82 or 86 towards Speke. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Albert Dock'. From there, walk towards the waterfront and follow the path to Canning Dock, which is just a short distance from Albert Dock.

Public Transport - Ferry
If you're near the waterfront, you can take the Mersey Ferry from Pier Head. Board the ferry and enjoy a scenic ride across the Mersey River. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Seacombe terminal. From there, walk towards the promenade and follow the signs to the Canning Dock, which is about a 15-minute walk along the waterfront.
