Car
From Chester, take the A5116 towards Frodsham. Continue on the A5116 until you reach the roundabout with the A56. Take the second exit onto the A56 towards Frodsham. Follow the A56 for approximately 4 miles until you reach Helsby. As you enter Helsby, turn right onto Helsby Hill Road. Continue straight for about half a mile, and you will find the entrance to National Trust - Helsby Hill on your left. Parking is available at the site, and it is free for National Trust members; otherwise, there may be a nominal charge.

From Chester, take a train from Chester Railway Station to Helsby Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Helsby Station, exit the station and head southwest on Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Helsby Hill Road. Turn left onto Helsby Hill Road and walk for about 20 minutes uphill until you reach the entrance to National Trust - Helsby Hill. Consider wearing comfortable walking shoes as the path may be steep.
