From the center of Ulverston, head southwest on Market Street toward the A590. Follow the A590 for about 0.5 miles, then take the exit toward The Gill. Continue straight onto The Gill Road, and then take a slight right onto The Gill. Follow the road until you reach The Gill, Ulverston LA12 7BP, where the Start of the Cumbria Way is located.
