If you are driving from the town of Bakewell, head east on the A619 towards Baslow. Continue to follow the A619 until you reach the junction with the A623. Turn left onto A623 and continue until you reach the town of Hope. Once in Hope, follow the signs for Winnats Pass. The pass is located just outside the village. There is parking available along the road, but be mindful of local parking restrictions.

To reach Winnats Pass by public transport, take a train from Derby to Hope Station (check current schedules as they may vary). From Hope Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. You can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) towards Winnats Pass by following the road signs, or you can catch a local bus that heads towards Castleton and ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Winnats Pass.

If you are coming from Castleton, take the A623 road towards Hope. As you exit Castleton, look for the signs for Winnats Pass on your left. Follow the road until you reach the pass. The road is scenic and has several viewpoints along the way. Make sure to take your time and enjoy the views!
