    From Edinburgh Waverley Station, purchase a ticket to Dunbar. Trains run frequently, so check the timetable for the next departure. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dunbar Station, exit the station and turn left onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A1 road, then turn right onto the A1. Follow the A1 for about 0.5 miles until you reach High Street. The Dunbar Town House Museum & Gallery will be on your left.

    From Edinburgh city center, head to the St Andrew Square Bus Station. Look for the Lothian Buses service 124 or 113, which goes directly to Dunbar. The bus ride takes about 1 hour.
