Car
If you're driving from Edinburgh, take the A1 southbound. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the Dunbar exit (A1087). Follow the A1087 into Dunbar and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A1107. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of John Muir Country Park, which is located on Unnamed Rd, Dunbar, West Barns, EH42 1TY. Parking is available at the park entrance, but be aware that some car parks may have a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach John Muir Country Park via public transport, take the train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Dunbar Station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Dunbar Station, exit the station and head towards the town center. From there, you can catch the bus number 124 or 126 towards East Linton and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for John Muir Country Park. The bus fare is around £2-£4 depending on your stop. The park is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
