If you are starting from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, exit the station and head towards Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto North Bridge. Cross North Bridge and walk straight onto the Royal Mile. Keep walking along the Royal Mile until you reach St. Giles' Cathedral. From St. Giles' Cathedral, continue down the Royal Mile for a few minutes. Look for the entrance to Mary King's Close located on the left side, just after the City Chambers. The address is 2 Warriston's Close, EH1 1PG.

If you are near the Edinburgh Bus Station, you can take a Lothian Bus service towards the city center (routes 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16). Get off at the North Bridge stop. From there, walk along North Bridge toward the Royal Mile. Follow the directions provided above from North Bridge to Mary King's Close.
