If you're traveling by car, start from Hereford city center and head southeast on the A49. Continue on the A49 for approximately 10 miles, then take the exit toward the A465. Follow the A465 for about 3 miles until you reach the B4348. Turn right onto the B4348, and after about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Llanwonog Lane. Continue on this road for about 1 mile, and you will find Longtown Castle on your right. There is free parking available nearby.

To reach Longtown Castle using public transportation, you can take a bus from Hereford. Look for the 'X4' bus service that travels to Longtown. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off the bus at the Longtown village stop. From there, it's a short walk along Llanwonog Lane (about 0.5 miles) to reach the castle. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited on weekends.
