Getting There

• Bus

  From Inverness city centre, head to the bus station located on Farraline Park. Look for the Stagecoach bus service to Dornoch. Check the schedule for the next available bus to Dornoch. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Dornoch, disembark at the bus stop on the main road. The Carnegie Whisky Cellars is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head east on the main road (Castle Street), then turn left onto The Square. Continue straight until you reach the whisky cellars, located at 3 The Square.

• Train and Bus

  From Inverness Railway Station, take a train to Tain. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tain station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop nearby. Catch the Stagecoach bus heading towards Dornoch. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the main bus stop in Dornoch. From there, walk east along Castle Street, then turn left onto The Square. The Carnegie Whisky Cellars will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are staying in a nearby area or prefer to explore on foot, make your way to the nearest bus stop or train station to catch a bus or train to Dornoch. Once in Dornoch, you can easily walk to The Carnegie Whisky Cellars. From the bus stop on the main road, head east along Castle Street, then take a left onto The Square. The whisky cellars are located at 3 The Square, just a short stroll from the bus stop.
