Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Lamlash on the A841 road. From Brodick, follow signs for Lamlash, which is approximately a 10-minute drive. As you enter Lamlash, look for the Old Pavilion; the COAST Discovery Centre is located within this building. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to check for parking signs.

• Bus

  You can take the local bus service, the Arran Bus, from various points around the Isle of Arran to Lamlash. Buses frequently run from Brodick to Lamlash, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving in Lamlash, walk towards the seafront, and the Old Pavilion housing the COAST Discovery Centre will be visible. Make sure to check the bus timetable for the latest schedules.

• Walking

  If you are staying in Lamlash or nearby, the COAST Discovery Centre is easily accessible on foot. Simply head towards the seafront from the village center. The Old Pavilion is located at the waterfront, so you should be able to spot it as you walk along the promenade. The walk from the village center should take no more than 10-15 minutes.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a direct route and are coming from a different location on the island, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available in most towns, and you can ask to be taken to the Old Pavilion in Lamlash. The cost will vary depending on your starting location, but expect to pay around £10-£15 from Brodick to Lamlash.
