If you are driving from Ballater, head southwest on the A93 towards Crathie. After approximately 1 mile, keep an eye out for the River Dee on your left. You will see the Crathie Suspension Bridge just before you reach Crathie village. There is parking available nearby, so you can safely park your car and walk to the bridge.

From Ballater, you can take the local bus service towards Crathie. Look for the bus that stops at the Crathie village. The journey will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Crathie stop, walk towards the River Dee, and the Crathie Suspension Bridge will be visible a short walk from the bus stop.
