If you are traveling by car, set your GPS to Penicuik Estate, located at Estate, Penicuik EH26 9JE. From Edinburgh, take the A701 road south. After approximately 10 miles, you will reach Penicuik. As you enter the town, follow the signs for Penicuik Estate. Turn onto Kirkhill Road and continue until you reach the estate entrance. There is parking available on-site, which is free of charge.

To reach Penicuik Estate via public transport, take bus service 15 or 47 from Edinburgh City Centre. Buses depart from stops near Waverley Station. After about 30-40 minutes, disembark at the 'Penicuik, Eastfield' stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the estate. Head southwest along Eastfield Road, then take a left onto Kirkhill Road, which will lead you directly to the estate entrance.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Edinburgh to the nearest station, which is 'Silverburn', on the Borders Railway. The journey takes about 20 minutes. From Silverburn station, take bus service 15 towards Penicuik. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at 'Penicuik, Eastfield' and walk 15 minutes to the estate as outlined above.
