Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station onto Neville Street. Head straight down Neville Street, which will eventually become St. Nicholas Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Quayside. Follow the Quayside path along the River Tyne until you reach the Tyne Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, turn right onto the pedestrian path that leads towards the city center. Continue walking until you reach Blandford Square, where the Discovery Museum is located at NE1 4JA. Look for the large entrance with museum signage.

    From Eldon Square Bus Station, which is a central location in Newcastle, you can catch the number 1 or 62 bus towards the Quayside. Board the bus and travel towards the city center.
