Walking
If you are starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station onto Neville Street. Head straight down Neville Street, which will eventually become St. Nicholas Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Quayside. Follow the Quayside path along the River Tyne until you reach the Tyne Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, turn right onto the pedestrian path that leads towards the city center. Continue walking until you reach Blandford Square, where the Discovery Museum is located at NE1 4JA. Look for the large entrance with museum signage.

From Eldon Square Bus Station, which is a central location in Newcastle, you can catch the number 1 or 62 bus towards the Quayside. Board the bus and travel towards the city center. Get off at the stop called 'Blandford Square'. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Blandford Square, and you will see the Discovery Museum located within the square. The museum is easily visible and well-signposted.

Take the Tyne and Wear Metro from any nearby station (e.g., Haymarket or Central Station) on the Green Line towards South Shields or the Yellow Line towards St. James. Get off at the 'Haymarket' station. From Haymarket, exit the station and head down Northumberland Road towards the Civic Centre. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at St. Mary's Place. Take the first exit onto Barras Bridge, then turn left onto Blandford Square. The Discovery Museum will be located on your right at NE1 4JA.
