If you are starting from Newcastle Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Neville Street. Turn right onto Neville Street, then take the first left onto Westgate Road. Continue straight until you reach St. Mary's Place. Cross over to the other side of the road, and you will see the Laing Art Gallery ahead on your left at New Bridge St W. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk.
