Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Manchester, take the M62 towards Liverpool. Merge onto the M6, then take the A570 exit towards Southport. Continue on the A570, following signs to Southport. Once in Southport, follow signs for the seafront, and you will find Southport Pleasureland located at Marine Drive, Southport PR8 1RX. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around £1-£2 per hour.

• Train

  To reach Southport Pleasureland by train, take a train from Manchester Piccadilly to Southport station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Southport station, exit the station and walk towards the seafront (about a 15-minute walk). Follow Lord Street and then Marine Drive to reach Southport Pleasureland at Marine Dr, Southport PR8 1RX.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus to Southport. From Liverpool, take the Arriva bus service 300 towards Southport. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Southport, get off at the nearest stop to Marine Drive, and it is a short walk to Southport Pleasureland. Check the Arriva website for the latest fares, which are generally around £5 for a return trip.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Southport train station directly to Southport Pleasureland. The taxi ride will take about 5-10 minutes and should cost around £5-£10 depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are already in Southport town center, Southport Pleasureland is easily accessible on foot. From the main shopping area on Lord Street, head towards the seafront on Marine Drive. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk to reach the amusement park.
