    If you are driving from Belfast city center, head north on the A1 (Ormeau Road) and follow the signs for the A12/M1. Merge onto the A12 and then take the exit for the A2 towards Carrickfergus. Continue on the A2 until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto the Antrim Road (A6). Follow this road for about 3 miles until you see the entrance to Belfast Castle on your left. There is free parking available just outside the castle.
