    If you are driving, head towards Berwick-upon-Tweed on the A1. Once in Berwick, follow signs for Holy Island, which is approximately 8 miles southeast. As you approach Holy Island, you will cross a causeway. Be mindful of the tides; the causeway is only accessible during low tide. Once over the causeway, continue straight to Marygate where the Lindisfarne Heritage Centre is located. There are parking facilities available near the Centre, although there may be a small fee for parking.
