Car
From Alnwick, take the A1 north towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit for the A1068 towards Belford. Continue on the A1068 for about 5 miles until you reach Belford. In Belford, turn left onto the B6347 towards Lowick. Follow this road for about 3 miles, and you will find St Cuthbert's Cave on your left. There is parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Newcastle, take the train to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Once in Berwick, exit the train station and take the bus number 467 towards Belford. The bus will take you directly to Belford. Get off at the Belford stop, and from there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to St Cuthbert's Cave, which is about 3 miles away. If walking, head south on the B6347 road towards Lowick, and you will find the cave on your left.

If you are coming from Hexham, take the A69 towards Newcastle. After about 20 miles, merge onto the A1 north towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. Follow the A1 for around 15 miles and take the exit for the A1068 towards Belford. Continue on the A1068 for about 5 miles until you reach Belford. Turn left onto the B6347 towards Lowick, and follow the road for about 3 miles to arrive at St Cuthbert's Cave.
