If you are driving from the town of Kelso, take the A6089 road heading east. Continue on the A6089 until you reach the junction with the A1. Merge onto the A1 heading north towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit for the A1109, which leads to Holy Island. Follow the signs for Holy Island, crossing the causeway (ensure to check tide times to avoid being stranded). Once on the island, follow the main road until you reach North Shore.
