Getting There

    From Nottingham city centre, head to the Victoria Bus Station. Take the bus number 78 towards Bestwood. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Bestwood Village stop. From there, walk along Park Road into Bestwood Country Park for about 10 minutes until you reach the Bestwood Winding Engine House.

  • Tram and Bus

    Start at Nottingham's Old Market Square and take the tram towards Hucknall. Get off at the Bulwell tram stop. From Bulwell, transfer to bus number 78 towards Bestwood Village. After about 20 minutes, alight at the Bestwood Village stop. Walk along Park Road into Bestwood Country Park for about 10 minutes to arrive at the Bestwood Winding Engine House.

    If you prefer to walk, start from Nottingham city centre and head north along the A60 towards Hucknall. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto the B682 (Bestwood Road).
