Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Sussex, head towards the A23. Follow the A23 north and take the exit for the A201 towards London Bridge. Merge onto the A201 and follow signs for the City of London. As you approach central London, continue onto the A3 and then onto the A400. Follow signs for Leicester Square and Cranbourn Street. The Hippodrome will be on your right at Square, Cranbourn Street, Leicester, London WC2H 7JH. Be aware that parking in central London can be quite expensive, and you may have to use nearby parking facilities, which can cost around £4-£6 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach the Hippodrome using public transport, start by taking a train to London Victoria Station. You can catch a direct train from several major stations in Sussex, such as Brighton or Eastbourne. Once you arrive at London Victoria, follow the signs to the Underground and take the District or Circle Line towards Edgware Road. Change at Westminster Station and switch to the Jubilee Line towards Stratford. Get off at Leicester Square Station. From there, it is just a short 5-minute walk to the Hippodrome located at Square, Cranbourn Street. Make sure to check the train schedules, as ticket prices vary based on the time of travel.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch a National Express or Megabus service from various towns in Sussex to Victoria Coach Station in London. Once you arrive at Victoria Coach Station, exit and walk to Victoria Underground Station. From there, take the District or Circle Line towards Edgware Road and then change at Westminster for the Jubilee Line towards Stratford. Get off at Leicester Square Station and walk 5 minutes to the Hippodrome at Square, Cranbourn Street. Bus tickets can range from £5 to £15 depending on your starting point and the time of booking.
