Getting There

• Tube

  To reach the Agatha Christie memorial located at Cranbourn St, London WC2H 7AB, start by finding your way to a London Underground station. If you are near the Leicester Square station, that is your best option. Take the Piccadilly Line towards Cockfosters. Alight at Covent Garden station, which is just one stop away. After exiting the platform, follow the signs to the lifts or stairs leading to street level. Once you are outside, head south on Long Acre towards Covent Garden Market. When you reach the market, turn left and continue onto James Street. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Cranbourn Street. The memorial will be on your left. It is a short, pleasant walk of about 10 minutes from Covent Garden station.

  If you prefer to take a bus, find a nearby bus stop and look for routes that head towards Leicester Square or Covent Garden. Routes 14, 19, 38, and 176 serve this area. Board the bus and ride until you reach the Leicester Square stop. From there, exit the bus and head south on Cranbourn Street. The Agatha Christie memorial will be a short walk ahead on your right. This journey can take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic.

  If you are already in central London, walking can be a great way to enjoy the sights. From Trafalgar Square, head east on The Strand. Continue straight, passing the Royal Opera House on your left. When you reach the junction with Wellington Street, turn left. Continue until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right onto Covent Garden. Walk through the market area, then follow the directions provided for the Tube from Covent Garden station to Cranbourn Street. This leisurely walk from Trafalgar Square will take approximately 20 minutes.
