Getting There

By Car

From King's Lynn, take the A149 towards Sandringham and Hunstanton, following brown tourist signs for Snettisham. The reserve is signposted down Beach Road about 1.6 km from the bypass. Parking costs £4 for non-members and is free for RSPB members. Note a height barrier restricts tall vehicles. Travel time from King's Lynn is approximately 25 to 35 minutes.
By Public Transport

Take a train to King's Lynn station, then use local bus services to Snettisham village. From the village, expect a 2-mile walk along rural lanes to the reserve entrance. The total journey time from King's Lynn is around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on connections and walking pace.
Access for Limited Mobility Visitors

Visitors with limited mobility can apply for a special access permit by contacting the reserve at least five working days before their visit. This allows driving to within 100 meters of the first hide via a gated track. Spaces are limited and require prior arrangement.

The reserve features benches, information boards in large print, and an accessible, waterless chemical-free toilet open year-round in the main car park.
