If you are starting from York Minster, head south on Minster Yard towards Ogleforth. Continue straight onto Duncombe Place, then turn left onto St. Leonard's Place. Walk until you reach the traffic lights, then cross the road to reach Museum Gardens. Continue straight through the gardens and exit onto Marygate. Keep walking straight until you reach the River Ouse. Turn right along the riverside path, and follow it until you reach Ouse Bridge. The Kings Arms pub will be on your left as you approach the bridge; the meeting point for The Original Ghost Walk of York is at the pub.

From York Railway Station, exit the station and turn right onto Queen Street. Walk straight until you reach the first roundabout. Take the second exit onto Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the next roundabout, taking the second exit onto Skeldergate Bridge. Cross over the bridge and turn left along the riverside path. Walk until you reach Ouse Bridge, where you will find the Kings Arms pub on your left. The Original Ghost Walk of York meets here.
