From there, take the Northern Rail service to Whitby, which generally runs several times a day. Once you arrive at Whitby station, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Abbey. Simply head out of the station, go straight along the main road (Station Square), then follow signs to the Abbey. There is no direct bus from the station to the Abbey, so walking is the best option.
