  Public transportation options are limited in this remote region. However, you can take a Greyhound bus from Salt Lake City to the nearest town, which is Torrey, Utah, located just outside Capitol Reef National Park. From Torrey, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to the park entrance, which is approximately 12 miles away. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services can be infrequent.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, biking from Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument to Capitol Reef National Park is possible.
