Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the main area of Lake Powell, start by heading to US-89 N. From the main town of Page, Arizona, which is adjacent to Lake Powell, take the access road to US-89 N. Continue on US-89 N for about 12 miles, until you reach the junction with UT-98 W. Take the exit towards UT-98 W. After approximately 2 miles, you will reach the intersection with the road leading to Powell Point Vista. Turn left onto this road and follow the signs. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. Be sure to have a map or GPS handy as the area can be remote.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in this area. You can take a shuttle service from Page, Arizona to various locations around Lake Powell, but it may not directly go to Powell Point Vista. Check with local tour operators for shuttle services or guided tours that include a stop at Powell Point Vista. If you can reach UT-98 W via shuttle, you could then arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining distance to Powell Point Vista.

• Walking/Hiking

  For those who are adventurous and already in the vicinity, once you reach the access road for Powell Point Vista, you may have to hike a short distance to reach the Vista itself. Ensure you are prepared with appropriate footwear and water. The hike can take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace and the trail conditions. Be cautious of the terrain and weather conditions.
