Walking
If you are at the Apostolic Palace, exit the main entrance and head towards the street 'Piazza San Pietro'. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach 'Piazza San Lorenzo in Damaso'. From there, turn right onto 'Via del Banco di Santo Spirito'. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Lungotevere in Sassia'. Cross the bridge 'Ponte Principe Amedeo Savoia Aosta' over the Tiber River and continue walking along the riverbank for approximately 15 minutes. You will see the 'Pons Aemilius' (Ponte Rotto) on your right.

Public Transport - Bus
From the Apostolic Palace, walk to 'Piazza San Pietro' and catch Bus Line 23 from the bus stop located there. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Lungotevere in Sassia'. After you get off, walk towards the river, and 'Pons Aemilius' (Ponte Rotto) will be visible just a few minutes away along the riverbank.

To reach 'Pons Aemilius' from the Apostolic Palace, exit towards 'Piazza San Pietro', then head to 'Via della Conciliazione'. Walk straight for about 12 minutes until you reach 'Lungotevere in Roma'. Turn left and walk along the riverbank for around 10 minutes. 'Pons Aemilius' (Ponte Rotto) will be on your left, just before 'Isola Tiberina'.
