If you are near the Colosseum, start by heading northwest on Via di San Giovanni in Laterano towards Piazza del Colosseo. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. Turn right and proceed along Via dei Fori Imperiali until you reach Piazza Venezia. From there, walk towards Via del Corso.

Continue on Via del Corso, passing by the famous shops and cafes. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a large intersection with Via del Plebiscito. Turn left onto Via del Plebiscito, and follow it until you reach Piazza Navona.

From Piazza Navona, head east towards Via di Santa Maria dell'Anima, then turn left onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue walking until you reach the Tiber River. You will see the beautiful Ponte Fabricio, which leads directly to Isola Tiberina.
